It’s still dark as my husband, brother-in-law, nephew and I walk toward where our boat is waiting. We’re on a family holiday on the west coast of Canada, and the four of us have booked a fishing trip with a local guide. This is my first open-water fishing trip, and I get butterflies in my stomach.
